Frequently Asked Questions

What’s included in the price?

The price of £695 or £795 depending on your option choice, per person, based on two sharing.: high quality accommodation at all route stage ends, breakfasts, evening meals, parties every evening, car vinyl's, team t-shirt and route map (provided for you at the start of each day).

What else do I need to budget for?

Petrol, any fines you may pick up, tolls, refreshments/snacks during the day and personal spending money.

What counties will we be traveling through?

The route is, and will remain, top secret. Each destination is revealed at the morning checkpoints where you will be given your mission pack for the day. This will include a suggested route and any local interest information for the county you will be traveling through. It will also give you full information on your final destination.

What happens if I encounter any problems whilst on the event?

In your daily mission packs you will be provided with a contact sheet with the phone numbers of the event managers, who are there to assist you wherever possible. We will not be able to provide you with mechanical support/back up though so it is imperative that you have a road side recovery plan.

Is it a race?

Cannonrun UK is definitely not a race. There is no winning car, this is about great drivers on great roads. Each evening at dinner we will give you the opportunity to discuss the days run with your fellow "cannonrunners".

Do I have to have a sports car to enter the event?

Absolutely not. You obviously need to ensure that your car is reliable as Cannonrun UK is a hardcore driving experience and the last thing you would want to do is spend most of your time waiting for roadside recovery service. The event is as much about the people and the driving experience as it is about the car. We obviously expect to have a fair showing of supercars but we encourage a mixture of performance's!

Should I bring any spare parts?

Yes. Definitely a spare tyre, but you should also think of bringing items such as brake pads if you plan on testing your car to the limit. You will be provided with a full check list of things to bring with you in the welcome pack sent out 4 weeks prior to the start.
